First Federal joins NextGen’s ApplyOnline platform

Brokers can now lodge First Federal mortgage applications through ApplyOnline® as part of the lender’s push to simplify and streamline the broker experience.

Non-bank lender First Federal is now live on ApplyOnline, Australia’s leading loan lodgement platform, delivering on a mission to give brokers a faster, easier way to submit and secure home loan applications for their clients.

Part of a wider broker-first investment in technology, First Federal will launch ApplyOnline with eSign and NextGenID® built in from day one. ApplyOnline eSign digitises the borrower’s key consent and declaration paperwork, replacing wet-signatures with a secure, automated and certified digital signing flow. NextGenID verifies borrower identity digitally at the point of application, replacing manual document checks with instant, government-backed identity verification.

First Federal is focused on making it simpler for brokers to do business with the lender, offering same-day approvals, no clawbacks and direct access to its credit team. The integration of ApplyOnline now extends that effort to digital lodgement, alongside First Federal’s recently launched Broker Portal.

“We’re focused on being one of the easiest lenders for brokers to deal with, and that starts with the tools we put in their hands,” said James Angus, Chief Executive Officer at First Federal. “ApplyOnline gives brokers a fast, familiar way to lodge with us. It’s one more step in removing unnecessary friction for brokers and their clients.”

“We’re pleased to welcome First Federal onto ApplyOnline,” said Marcus Walley, Strategic Partnerships Manager at NextGen. “Given their commitment to making the lending experience easy and seamless for brokers, we’re delighted to be considered First Federal’s partner of choice. With the addition of tools like eSign and NextGenID from the outset, First Federal is giving their brokers an efficient, secure lodgement experience, on a platform that’s built to scale as their business grows.”
