Celebrating our partnership with Skip, live on ApplyOnline

Skip’s integration with ApplyOnline® went live in May, and four months on, the non-bank home loan lender has moved into business-as-usual on the platform.

A collaborative transition

Skip moved from its proprietary lodgement system to ApplyOnline, with the partnership progressing from initial conversations to launch within three months. NextGen Strategic Partnership Manager Marcus Walley said, “Since they launched, their volumes are continuing to grow and applications are just continuing to come through every week — it’s exciting to see.”

Skip co-founder Mario Emmanuel said the decision to integrate reflected the company’s focus on meeting brokers where they already are. “We want to work with brokers in the way that they’re used to interacting with lenders,” he said. “The best thing has been the speed with which NextGen has been able to move with us, and the whole end-to-end solution NextGen offers.”

Feedback since going live

Skip has reported an increase in lodgement volumes and a more streamlined experience for brokers, which the lender says has translated into improved service level agreements. Skip has also noted an increase in the amount of data flowing through to its systems, which its credit operations team says is helping credit assistants reach decisions more easily.

Expanding broker access

Skip’s broker channel activity has also continued to grow, including its presence on the LMG and Outsource Financial aggregator panels, and its recent addition to Connective’s white-label portfolio via Connective Skip.
