Introduction to Open BankingWe recently celebrated with our partners at RedZed to mark the successful implementation of ApplyOnline® and the transformative results they have already achieved since going live in November 2024.
The evening, hosted by RedZed in their Melbourne head office, brought together key stakeholders from both organisations to reflect on a partnership that has delivered exceptional outcomes for RedZed’s broker network and internal operations.
Since implementing ApplyOnline, RedZed has seen online application submissions double, while processing times have been dramatically reduced across all touchpoints. Applications that previously took almost an hour to process now take just 15 minutes, and what used to require hours to reach credit assessors now happens in under ten minutes.
Beyond the impressive metrics, the partnership has created a smoother, more consistent experience for brokers who are already familiar with NextGen’s platform. This familiarity has translated into increased confidence when submitting applications and faster turnaround times.
RedZed’s commitment to supporting self-employed Australians aligns perfectly with NextGen’s mission to make lending easy. This shared focus on simplifying what can be a complex process has created a powerful partnership that delivers real results for brokers and customers alike. As Mike Ponsonby, Head of Lender Partnerships at NextGen, noted at the event, “RedZed’s done a fantastic job in really capturing the appetite of the broker market to help people with self-employed applications.”
The implementation success was driven by strong collaboration between both teams, with RedZed’s Chief Operating Officer Paul Dontschuk praising the repeatable process and on-time delivery that characterised the project.
